Winter in Cairns

Feeling Cold? Why not head to Cairns, capital of Far North Queensland! With a daily average winter temperature of 17-28 degrees Celsius (62 - 82 F) & low rainfall, it’s a perfect location for that winter holiday. The water on the Great Barrier Reef is currently 26 degrees Celsius (78F) so no need for a wetsuit! Currently there are ………..
- Plenty of Whale sightings at the moment with playful encounters with visitors reported on a daily basis.
- Rafting is on special at the moment in Cairns as is Skydiving (awesome experience).
- Reef Fishing is very good at the moment with plenty of bites around!
- Cape Tribulation is very lush at this time of the year with excellent weather in the 135 million year old rainforest!
- Mossman Gorge, one of the five purest and cleanest rivers in the world, although is a bit cold (for us) so we recommended a wetsuit for water activities. However, for those use to a cold climate it may be OK to do without.

We are located in the heart of Cairns, within walking distance from most accommodation properties. Shop 4, 20 Lake Street, pop in to see our monthly specials! PH: +617 4051 6220 & Email: celtictravel@live.com
