Winter in Cairns

Feeling Cold? Why not head to Cairns, capital of Far North Queensland! With a daily average winter temperature of 17-28 degrees Celsius (62 - 82 F) & low rainfall, it’s a perfect location for that winter holiday. - Rafting is on special at the moment in Cairns as is Skydiving (awesome experience).
- Reef Fishing is very good at the moment with plenty of bites around!
- Cape Tribulation is very lush at this time of the year with excellent weather in the 135 million year old rainforest!
- Mossman Gorge, one of the five purest and cleanest rivers in the world, although is a bit cold (for us) so we recommended a wetsuit for water activities. However, for those use to a cold climate it may be OK to do without.
